Took Escape out for the weekend to celebrate Mother's Day. 72 F, sunny, with winds at 10 WNW at time of departure (2:55 pm) on Saturday. Nice sail over to Eagles Cove. Conducted formal name change ceremony with gifts and homage paid to Poseidon. Raised anchor for trip back home on Sunday morning at 9:35 am.

Took the paddle board out on Assawoman Canal a bit later today. 62F, mostly cloudy, with winds 8 mph from the ESE at time of launch (10:40 am). Grabbed lunch at Juice Box afterwards.
Took the paddle board out on Assawoman Canal. 64F, light rain, wind 9 mph from SSE at time of launch (3:15 pm). The smell of honeysuckle made paddling in the light rain totally worth it.
Took the paddle board out on Cattail Creek this morning. 70F, partly cloudy with wind at 9 mph from the SSW at time of launch (8:35 am). The Great Blue Herons were actively fishing this morning. Pictures never seem to capture it.
With a busy morning, I opted to take the paddle board out for a sunse paddle. 77F, sunny, with winds 9 mph from the SE at time of launch (7:05 pm).
